3. Submit your free entry

You may submit one entry per challenge. Entries must be submitted before the displayed closing time. Only one entry per person is permitted. Creating or using multiple accounts to submit additional entries is not allowed and may result in disqualification.

4. Check your score

Once the relevant matches have been completed and settled, your predictions will be scored.

5. Win a share of the prize pool

If your score qualifies for a prize tier, you will share that tier's displayed prize pool equally with the other eligible winners in that tier.

Shared Prize Pools

Each prize tier shows the total prize pool available for that tier. If more than one player qualifies for the same prize tier, the prize pool is divided equally between all eligible winners in that tier.

Example: if a ₦100,000 prize tier has two qualifying winners, each winner receives ₦50,000.

One Prize Per Player

You can only win one prize tier per challenge. If your score qualifies for more than one prize tier, you will receive the highest prize tier for which you qualify. For example, a player qualifying for a 9-correct prize tier does not also receive the prize available for the 8-correct tier.

Prize Credits and Payment

When you qualify for a prize, your prize amount may first be shown in your Bonus9ja account as a prize credit. A prize credit is not a betting balance, deposit, stake or requirement to gamble.

Bonus9ja will contact qualifying winners using the telephone number and/or email address registered to their account where verification or payment information is required. Prize payment is subject to successful eligibility and account verification.

1. Free Entry

The Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge is completely free to enter. No payment, purchase, bookmaker account, gambling deposit, stake, wager or other financial contribution is required to enter or win. Participants are responsible only for their normal internet, mobile-data or device costs.

Using a bookmaker, opening a betting account, making a deposit, placing a bet or using any betting offer does not: provide an additional entry; improve a participant's score; improve a participant's chance of winning; increase a participant's prize; or form any part of the entry requirements. Prizes are funded by Bonus9ja.

2. Eligibility

Unless stated otherwise for a particular challenge, participation is open only to individuals who:

• are aged 18 years or older;
• are ordinarily resident in Nigeria;
• have a valid Bonus9ja account;
• provide accurate registration information;
• have a valid telephone number and/or email address registered to their account;
• satisfy any location requirements displayed for the challenge; and
• comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Bonus9ja may request reasonable evidence of age, identity or residency before paying a prize. Employees, contractors or other persons directly involved in administering the challenge may be excluded from participation.

3. Bonus9ja Account Requirement

A participant must have a valid Bonus9ja account to enter. Each individual may operate only one account for the purposes of participating in the Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge.

Participants must not: create multiple Bonus9ja accounts; use multiple identities; enter through another person's account; allow another person to use their account to obtain additional entries; or otherwise attempt to circumvent the one-entry-per-person rule.

Where Bonus9ja reasonably determines that one person controls or uses multiple accounts for the purpose of obtaining additional entries, all affected entries may be disqualified. Any associated prize may also be withheld or cancelled where the participant was not eligible to receive it.

4. One Entry Per Person Per Challenge

Each eligible participant may submit one entry only per Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge. An entry consists of the participant's submitted predictions for the matches included in the relevant challenge. Once the entry deadline has passed, no additional entry may be submitted. Multiple entries submitted by the same person through different accounts are prohibited.

5. Challenge Information

Before entries close, Bonus9ja will display the relevant information for each Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge. This may include: the football matches included; the predictions participants are required to make; the number of matches included; the closing date and time; the available prize tiers; the score required for each prize tier; and the total prize pool available for each tier.

The number of matches, available prize tiers and prize amounts may vary between challenges. The information displayed for a particular challenge forms part of these Terms & Conditions for that challenge.

6. Making Predictions

Participants must submit their predictions through the official Bonus9ja Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge interface. Predictions must be successfully submitted before the displayed entry deadline. Participants are responsible for reviewing their selections before submission.

Where Bonus9ja allows predictions to be edited before the deadline, the final valid selections recorded by Bonus9ja when entries close will constitute the participant's entry. Predictions cannot normally be changed after the relevant entry deadline.

7. Entry Deadline

Each challenge will display an entry closing time. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted for that challenge. Bonus9ja's systems and recorded server time will be used to determine whether an entry was submitted before the applicable deadline. A participant is responsible for allowing sufficient time to submit their predictions.

8. Prediction Markets and Scoring

The prediction requirement for each match will be clearly displayed on the challenge page. Where the challenge requires participants to predict a standard football match result using Home Win, Draw or Away Win, the result will normally be determined using the official result at the end of normal regulation time, unless the challenge page expressly states otherwise.

For football, normal regulation time generally means 90 minutes plus officially recognised stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs will not normally count toward a standard Home/Draw/Away prediction unless expressly stated before entry. Where another type of prediction is offered, the relevant settlement method will be displayed or otherwise specified by Bonus9ja.

9. Official Results

Bonus9ja will use a recognised and reliable football results source when settling predictions. Where an official result is subsequently corrected before Bonus9ja confirms and finalises the relevant challenge results, Bonus9ja may use the corrected result. Once a challenge has been finally settled and prizes confirmed, later statistical corrections will not normally result in recalculation unless required to correct a clear settlement error or by applicable law.

10. Postponed, Abandoned or Uncompleted Matches

If a match is postponed, abandoned, cancelled, suspended or otherwise does not produce a valid result that can reasonably be used for settlement within the period specified by Bonus9ja for the relevant challenge, that match will not count as a correct prediction for any participant when the challenge is scored.

Because the score required for each prize tier is fixed and displayed before entry, a match that does not produce a usable result applies equally to every participant. Where Bonus9ja considers it fair to do so, it may instead void the challenge, use an officially recognised result where one has been formally declared, or take another reasonable action necessary to settle the challenge fairly. Any method used will be applied consistently to all participants.

11. Minimum Matches

A challenge may specify a minimum number of matches that must produce a valid result for the challenge to be settled. Where fewer than the required number of matches produce a usable result, Bonus9ja may void the challenge. Where a challenge is voided, no prize is payable and no prize credit arises from that challenge.

12. Replaced Matches

Before the entry deadline, Bonus9ja may replace a match where reasonably necessary because of cancellation, scheduling changes, obvious listing errors or other circumstances. Where a match is replaced after a participant has already submitted an entry, Bonus9ja will take reasonable steps to ensure affected participants have a fair opportunity to submit a prediction for the replacement match where practicable. Bonus9ja will not replace matches after the entry deadline merely to alter the difficulty or outcome of a challenge.

13. Prize Tiers

Each challenge may contain one or more prize tiers. The score required for each prize tier will be displayed before entries close. A participant qualifies only for the highest prize tier corresponding to their final valid score. A participant cannot receive multiple prize tiers from the same challenge.

14. One Prize Tier Per Participant

Each participant may receive one prize only per challenge. Where a participant's score satisfies the requirements of more than one prize tier, they will receive only the highest prize tier for which they qualify.

For example, if the challenge includes a prize for 9 correct predictions and a prize for 8 correct predictions, a participant with 9 correct predictions qualifies only for the 9-correct prize tier. They do not also receive a share of the 8-correct prize tier.

15. Shared Prize Pools

The prize amount displayed for each tier represents the total prize pool available for that tier, unless expressly stated otherwise. Where one eligible participant qualifies for a tier, that participant receives the full displayed prize pool for that tier. Where two or more eligible participants qualify for the same tier, the prize pool will be divided equally between those eligible winners.

For example, a prize tier displays ₦100,000. If 1 eligible participant qualifies, that participant receives ₦100,000; if 2 qualify, each receives ₦50,000; if 4 qualify, each receives ₦25,000. Where a prize cannot be divided exactly to the smallest supported payment unit, Bonus9ja may apply a reasonable rounding method.

16. No Qualifying Winners

If no participant qualifies for a particular prize tier, no prize will be payable for that tier unless the challenge page expressly states that the prize will roll over, be added to another prize, be carried forward, or otherwise be distributed. A prize does not automatically roll over unless this is expressly stated.

17. Prize Credit to Bonus9ja Account

After the challenge has been settled, Bonus9ja may record a qualifying participant's prize in their Bonus9ja account as a prize credit, pending any required verification and payment processing. A prize credit represents the prize amount provisionally allocated to that participant.

A prize credit: is not a gambling deposit; is not a stake; is not a bookmaker balance; cannot be used to obtain additional challenge entries; does not require the participant to gamble; and does not require the participant to make a purchase or deposit. A prize credit remains subject to confirmation that the participant complied with these Terms & Conditions.

18. Winner Verification

Prize entitlement is subject to reasonable verification. Before paying a prize, Bonus9ja may ask a potential winner to verify information including: their identity; their age; their Nigerian residency; control of their Bonus9ja account; control of the telephone number registered to their account; control of the email address registered to their account; compliance with the one-account-per-person rule; details required to process the prize payment; and any other information reasonably necessary to confirm eligibility or prevent fraud.

Bonus9ja will not request more information than is reasonably necessary for verification, administration or payment. A participant who cannot reasonably establish their eligibility may lose entitlement to the prize.

19. Winner Contact

Bonus9ja may contact potential winners using the telephone number and/or email address provided when the participant registered their Bonus9ja account. Participants are responsible for keeping their contact information accurate and up to date. Bonus9ja may also display a notification within the participant's Bonus9ja account indicating that they have qualified for a prize. A displayed prize credit does not remove the requirement to complete reasonable verification where verification is requested.

20. Providing Payment Details

After successful verification, Bonus9ja may ask the winner to provide the information reasonably necessary to receive their prize. This may include: account holder name; Nigerian bank account details; OPay or other supported payment details; or another payment destination reasonably supported by Bonus9ja.

Bonus9ja may require the payment destination to be held by, controlled by or reasonably connected to the verified winner. Payment information is collected solely for legitimate administration, verification and prize-payment purposes.

21. Prize Payments

Following successful verification, Bonus9ja will arrange payment using a reasonable available payment method. Bonus9ja may use: Nigerian bank transfer; OPay; an international money-transfer provider; another electronic payment service; or another reasonable payment method. The specific method used may depend on availability, regulatory requirements and the information supplied by the winner.

Bonus9ja will not require a valid winner to place a bet, deposit money, open a bookmaker account or purchase anything before receiving their prize.

22. No Prize-Release Fees

Bonus9ja will never require a legitimate winner to: pay a prize-release fee; make a deposit; place a bet; pay Bonus9ja money; purchase a product; open or fund a bookmaker account; or send money to another person in order to receive a valid Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge prize.

Any person claiming to represent Bonus9ja who requests payment before releasing a prize should be treated with caution. Participants should contact Bonus9ja through the official contact information on bonus9ja.com if they are uncertain about a prize message.

23. Claim Period

Unless otherwise stated for a particular challenge, a potential winner will have 30 days from Bonus9ja's first reasonable attempt to notify them, or from the date the prize becomes available for verification, to complete the required prize-claim process. The winner must provide any reasonably requested verification and payment information during this period.

Where a participant fails to respond or cannot complete reasonable verification within the claim period, Bonus9ja may treat the prize as forfeited. Any treatment of a forfeited prize will be determined in accordance with the rules displayed for the relevant challenge.

24. Duplicate Accounts and Multiple Entries

Only one Bonus9ja account and one challenge entry per person are permitted. Bonus9ja may investigate circumstances indicating that multiple accounts or entries are controlled by the same individual. Relevant factors may include information reasonably available to Bonus9ja concerning account registration, verification, device activity or other legitimate anti-fraud indicators. No single factor will necessarily determine the outcome of an investigation.

Where Bonus9ja reasonably concludes that one individual intentionally used multiple accounts to obtain additional entries, Bonus9ja may: void the additional entries; disqualify all related entries; cancel an associated prize; restrict the accounts involved; or take another reasonable measure necessary to protect the integrity of the challenge.

25. Fraud and Manipulation

Participants must not attempt to manipulate, interfere with or abuse the Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge. Prohibited conduct includes: submitting multiple entries through multiple accounts; impersonating another person; using false identity information; using automated systems or bots to obtain an unfair advantage; attempting to alter submitted predictions after the deadline; interfering with Bonus9ja systems; exploiting a technical error in bad faith; colluding with another person to circumvent the rules; or engaging in fraudulent conduct connected with prize verification or payment.

Bonus9ja may disqualify a participant where there is reasonable evidence of prohibited conduct.

26. Technical Problems

Bonus9ja will take reasonable steps to operate the challenge reliably. However, Bonus9ja cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to its website, systems or services. Participants are responsible for submitting their entries sufficiently before the deadline.

Bonus9ja is not responsible for an entry that is not successfully received because of: the participant's internet connection; mobile-network problems; device failure; browser failure; or another issue outside Bonus9ja's reasonable control. Where a widespread technical failure materially affects the fairness or integrity of a challenge, Bonus9ja may take reasonable corrective action.

27. Obvious Errors

Bonus9ja may correct an obvious technical, administrative or display error where it would be unreasonable to treat the incorrect information as valid. Examples may include: an obviously incorrect prize amount caused by a technical error; the same match appearing multiple times unintentionally; incorrect team names; incorrect match dates or kick-off times; or corrupted or duplicated prediction data.

Bonus9ja will not use this provision to avoid paying a legitimately won prize simply because the result is commercially inconvenient. Any correction will be made reasonably and, where material, communicated to affected participants.

28. Challenge Changes or Cancellation

Bonus9ja may modify, suspend or cancel a Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge where reasonably necessary because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, including: widespread match cancellations; significant fixture changes; technical failure; fraud or manipulation; legal or regulatory requirements; or circumstances making fair administration impossible.

Where possible, Bonus9ja will seek to preserve existing valid entries and settle the challenge fairly rather than cancel it. Bonus9ja will not cancel a challenge merely to avoid paying prizes that have been legitimately won.

29. Publication of Winners

Bonus9ja may publish information sufficient to demonstrate that prizes have been awarded. This may include: username or suitably limited account identifier; challenge date or reference; qualifying score or prize tier; prize amount; payment status; and payment date.

Bonus9ja will not publicly publish a winner's telephone number, email address, bank-account details, payment-account details, or unnecessary identity information.

30. Personal Information

Personal information collected in connection with the Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge will be handled in accordance with the Bonus9ja Privacy Policy. Information may be used where reasonably necessary to: create and administer accounts; administer competition entries; prevent duplicate entries; detect fraud and abuse; verify eligibility; contact potential winners; confirm identity; process prize payments; maintain competition records; and satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Entry into the Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge does not, by itself, constitute consent to unrelated direct marketing.

31. Relationship With Betting

The Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge is a separate free-to-enter promotion operated and funded by Bonus9ja. Bonus9ja does not require participants to place bets as part of the challenge.

Opening a bookmaker account, clicking an affiliate link, claiming a betting offer, depositing money or placing a wager: is not required to enter; does not provide an additional entry; does not improve a prediction score; does not improve the chance of receiving a prize; and is not required to receive a prize.

32. Bonus9ja's Other Services

Bonus9ja may separately provide odds comparison, bookmaker information, promotional information or affiliate links. Those services are separate from entry into the Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge. Participation in the challenge must not be conditional on using any bookmaker or betting-related service.

33. Taxes and Personal Obligations

Where applicable, participants are responsible for any personal tax or reporting obligation legally arising from receipt of a prize. Bonus9ja may make deductions or obtain information where required by applicable law.

34. Regulatory Requirements

The Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge is subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Bonus9ja may restrict participation by location or suspend availability in a jurisdiction where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or a requirement of a competent authority. Eligibility shown on the Bonus9ja platform does not override any legal restriction that applies to a participant.

35. Decisions and Complaints

Bonus9ja will administer the Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge reasonably and consistently with these Terms & Conditions. Questions concerning scoring, eligibility, settlement or prize payment may be submitted to [email protected].

Where a participant disputes a settlement or disqualification decision, Bonus9ja may review the relevant records and provide a final internal decision based on the information reasonably available.

36. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

37. Changes to These Terms

Bonus9ja may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes affecting an active challenge will not normally be applied retrospectively where doing so would unfairly disadvantage participants who have already entered. The version applicable when an entry is submitted will normally govern that entry, subject to changes required by law or necessary to correct an obvious error.

38. Acceptance of These Terms

By submitting an entry to the Free-to-Play Football Jackpot Prediction Challenge, the participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. The participant also confirms that the information associated with their Bonus9ja account is accurate and that they are participating only through their own permitted account.
